Hi, I just took delivery on my rrs today after trading in my d3 and I love it.

Looking forward to some good chat and info when needed. I also run a 1985 defender for off roading which keeps me busy keeping it running.

My new rrs is a 58 plate hse which has so much more comfort and bling than my old base model d3.

Just picked up my RRS a few days ago from an Audi dealer which someone had traded in for an A4 .

I was looking for Stornaway Gray, but during my search I stumbled accross Nara Bronze, with Arabica leather. Now looking for that.

New joiner here based in South Birmingham. Just purchased my 3rd RRS, and am very happy with it.

This forum is great and has a lot of valuable content, I hope I can add some value over time.

One thing I was wondering though, having read the thred about DRLs is whether if we all got together and asked LR whether they could do a software upgrade (not even sure this would be possible, but I'm sure someone will put me right) so that we could choose to have the Halo lights on as DRLs without having the full headlights on (as is currently the only option).

What do you think ? do LR listen to the forum ? is it technically possible ??

You can get the look you're after I belive by having the 'Scandinavian' setting activated.
A friendly dealer, or someone with 'Autologic' can enable it for you.  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

When I read the thread about this I though that the "Scandanavian" setting (and only option, I think one of the guys talked about a Canadian setting) just did the same as Volvo, and that is to turn on the headlights (not tail lights or dash) when the engine is running. I'm really would like just the Halo lights, which I think are pretty cool. I know that I can achieve nearly the same effect by switching my lights to "side lights" every time I start the car, but that's a real pain. I would prefer to leave the setting on "auto" and have the halo lights on when the engine is running, and then the headlights, tail lights and dash lights to come on when it is dark !!

It's worth looking into, as I thought the Halo's were activated by the 'Scandy' setting.
