I would slightly dampen the towel - I burnt up a towel screwing this up initially as well!

+2 on the epoxy. Get the two cylinder plunger plastic epoxy - clear. Treat the reflective coating like a very fragile foil; it delaminates extremely easily. Dry fit first, then put tiny dots of the epoxy exactly where the rings will push over to conceal. I put 6 dots total and they're still holding. |

When it comes to wiring these up. Am I right in thinking if the halos are on whilst main lights are in this is actually illegal??? |

I maybe wrong but I'm sure they stay on even with normal headlights on anyway on the newer models, but not sure if its at a reduced brightness.
