Have you considered new TPMS valves for your 22" and having it recalerbrated? |

Might be worth asking BBS Solutions if it's something that can be done with their Faultmate MSV unit, then find someone who has one and is prepared to help.

Thanks - I've just sent a message to BBS asking whether this is possible, or whether the Faulktmate MSV can deactivate the system, or tell the car that it's not present. |

I think a solution to the TPMS problem may be getting closer - reply from BBS is below:

Thanks, I'll give him a try. It would be worth a 300 mile round trip, just to stop the TPMS messages from flashing up every 5 miles! |

I've just sent a message to James French, to see if they can help. If you have a contact in Warwick, I'll give them a try as well? Thanks. |

Unfortunately, no reply from James French, but all set for a trip to see Bodsey on Thursday morning, so hopefully an end to the continual TPMS warnings is in site. I'm also going to ask him to have a look at the steering position sensor, to see if recalibration is required, so fingers crossed this may sort out the unnecessary traction/skid control intervention. That just leaves the noisey EGR valves, which I'll possibly take up with LR customer service and see what they say. I may try and post a link to a recording of the noise, to see if you guys think it's excessive enough to require attention, even though they appear to be still working. Thanks for all the help and advice so far. Rob |

Isn't anything an excuse ? Owners' manual states only Land Rover approved accessories should be plugged into cigarette lighters. I guess a phone charger or Sat Nav power lead would invalidate your warranty unless approved by LR ? "Roads ? Where we're going there are no roads." Back to the future. |
