Few of us have had this in the early days of MY12 ownership, I've put it down to the system learning the driving 'style' as mines not done it in the last 6 months.

Suggestion, if it's hunting for a gear override it and hit the accelerater? Mike

At nearly £60k with extras, and my third sport, and my fifth Land Rover product I'm a little tired of giving them the benefit of the doubt!

A bulletin was issued last year concerning "Vehicle Hesitation When Accelerating From Low Speed" that affected diesel vehicles from VIN AA215623 onwards. Apparently customers complained of "Reduced engine performance with throttle demand at low vehicle speeds". The cause was the stop lamp switch was incorrectly adjusted and/or the brake booster had free play. Dealers were advised to: 1. Carry out brake pedal position switch adjustment; 2. Check for brake booster free play and tighten if required. strikes me as more of a fault rather than the 'learning' thingy (which is essentially the gearbox), given how severe it is ============

I wouldn't disagree...but if the sensors were replaced it's a quick way to see...plus it will override any learning issues Mike 2014 Facelift Discovery |

Thanks Boys, the Land Rover technician came today. It was showing the same fault, so he changed the pedal with his Discovery one (two weeks old) and it seems to have worked. It did do it once, but not as severe, and the software couldn't pick it up.
