New to this site but have been a member of disco 3 forum since 2005, just sold my 2008 HSE and collecting second hand 2012 sport on friday, just fancied a change really, dont think it will be as practical as the disco but maybe a bit nicer to drive, just hope its as reliable as the last two discos.

Hi another newbie with his first ever RRS TDV8 (2008) First ever Land Rover in fact. Two weeks in now and loving it so far though reading through some of the posts about reliability could be an expensive new toy
Still so far so good, took it down for a run to Brighton the other day and had some fun with the adaptive cruise control. It works though I did have my foot hovering over the break peddle every now and then

Hi guys , new to website have been a land rover fan for a few years and at present drive RRS sch.

Evening all. I shouldn't be here, I have a Defender but I've decided the time has come to trade in for a RRS. I'm tempted by the 2010 model but will probably plump for a 2006 to see if I do like it before spending a shed load.

Afternoon, evening or morning all

Thought I had best join up and enter whilst I await the "new to me" car
I have just placed deposit on my next money pit, RRS tdv8, after much tempting and teasing, I went against all my morals standards and believes, firstly buying but secondly, in the exact wrong colour that I had intended.
I have taken the plunge and went for a Izmir Blue, as few are about and it'll break up the norm in the Nursery car park, never been a follower, hence the colour choice ( go easy, I know most don't approve, there is good reason for the choice)

With not having car and it not being delivered until Tuesday (hence no pictures) I have taken to the net for modding ideas, having just sold the 5 series and having tinkered and toyed with that to the point of an instant sale (quite commendable in these markets)

Any ideas what should be done, what should be looked at

I had planned the following

Amber side repeaters will be going,
Side rubbing strips will be off possibly prior to leaving garage.

My concern opening question is on the colour coding of the lower trim moulding & bumpers
I know the trims just pull off ? Has anyone approached a body shop with them for painting
Also, can the standard bumpers be colour coded or is it best to look at replacing with Hst's
