First of all mark out the outline of the old plate if it’s nice and straight with masking tape, you’ll need this for when you put your new plate on for a guide line.

I found it easier to use a heat gun or the wifes hair dryer and heat the plate up starting at one corner, then prise the plate away from the body whilst keep heating the plate, If using a heat gun DO NOT burn the paintwork or melt the plate then clean off any sticky pads as instructions above |

Too late I know, but I'd always recommend some heat and some fishing line/dental floss.
