Also, big mistake a lot of people make is over valueing the car. If its a 3 year old car it ain't worth what you paid for it! Try dropping the value to a sensible level based on trade or used values. Hello Endjin,

My insurance is running out by the end of this month (31-July-2012) and I expect it to be around £2800. However, I have some time to find a cheaper one if I am lucky. Bigest problem is that I have another car and I must insure that one too which will be stupid to pay nearly 6k on insuring 2 cars. At this moment the second car is unsured in the garage for 4 weeks now.

I hoped I could find an insurer to ensure both cars for 3k.

I will keep calling up companies (once a day for 30 mimutes).
