Hello everyone,

I am looking to find a cheaper insurance than what I paid by now.

At this moment I have got 3 points on my licence but for almost 2 years I had 11 POINTS .......so .......very EXCITING, wasn't it?! 

HOW DID I GET THEM? - Here you can see how easy they are coming: 

3 points (August 2007) for exceeding statutory speed limit on a public road. Gone off from the licence but not from the insurers list  

5 points (February 2008) for exceeding speed limit on a motorway. Gone off from the licence but not from the insurers list  

3 points (November 2009) caught talking on the phone.

What is my advice to you? DRIVE SAFE AND HAVE FUN. IF YOU WANT TO DRIVE FAST GO TO EUROPE FOR A DAY OR A WEEKEND.

Toni do you have another car in your household? If so you could maybe try a fleet policy?

I'm 26 and pay £600 (fleet policy) LCFC. Receiver of threatening letters from Overfinch.

Try also the sites that are not on 'comparator' websites, eg Direct Line.
I insure Mrs Beans and mine through them. By my car being the second car in the household, I get a 25% discount, makes a big difference

I pay £400 with Swift after some haggling over the phone. I'm 32, wife 30 who has 3 points.

I have just moved from Land Rover Insurance who were putting my premium up to £800. I have signed up
with NFU (via direct contact with local agent, not through NFU Direct web site) at £520 for Fully comp inc Class A business use for me & Mrs E. I had 2 own fault accidents within last 3 years but no speeding convictions.  2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black
