Yes i see what your getting at and we are both saying the same thing but getting our wires crossed.
Land rover specify a load which I assume would cover the worst case scenario so by that if I've got my own car and I'm not ever going to fully load it to worse case scenario then surely I don't need that load rating?
I'm not saying I'm going to run out and buy tyres/wheels with a lower rating I'm just making a point.
When i asked about the dealers if you had said they were franchise dealers instead of the sarcastic comment it would have been much easier. Very Happy

X5pea don't take my comments to heart Whistle I am interested in facts and your statement was well daft to say the least. Team dynamics is very well know and used brand in motorsport so they can't be that bad.
I don't claim to know everything, hence why I was asking the questions. I do however know quite a bit about Nova's, TVR Cerbera's and E36 M3's having owned them and done a lot of work myself, the knowledge that I picked up was via forums and asking questions. A lot of that knowledge can be applied to any car.

You say you want to feel safe when driving, has no original alloy ever cracked or buckled in the whole life of land rover vehicles? Have the tyres never been punctured? Have they never had a single brake failure? Etc etc
It's impossible to eliminate all problems that may occur when driving.

I'm not for one minute suggesting that people should run under load rated alloys/tyres but I'm asking the question to where this information comes from.

James - just had my genuine LR wheels off to give them a really good clean and i have to say that the quality of the finish seems really poorr in places. It looks like the finish has been sprayed on from an angle and the spokes have got in the way of full coverage. You can catch the difference in the light (it looks like an orange peel effect) or clearly feel the roughness where the full finish is very smooth.

Do you know whether this is just standard or could be seen as a warranty issue?

Also noticed that the centre caps have lost much of their finish around the edges - given my car is never power washed this seems poor.

I have the diamond finish wheels:

Martin said Replica wheels ..... not after market ie team dynamic wheels Rolling Eyes ill point out again he works fr a company who make after market wheels Laughing
You then suggest if someone said team dynamic wheels were crap they would be "prosecute you for libel." Rolling Eyes
