24 days till I pick up my brand new RRS. Its the first one I've every had and I'm very excited.

Its a SDV6 Autobiography, sumatra black, hockenheim interior, rear screens, surround cameras, privacy glass and side steps.

I will post some pics when I get it.

Hi and welcome to the site I don't want to spoil the arrival of your new motor but it won't be sumatra black as this was discontinued 31/12/11. It will be santorini black re-introduced 01/01/2012 looking forward to the pics.

Hi all

Have been perving this site for a few weeks now, since ordering a MY12 Range Rover Sport HSE.

I'm due to collect the car on 1st March and am really looking forward to owning a Rangie again. Last Range Rover I owned was back in the 80's when I had a white "W" reg 2 door V8. I ended up dropping a 6 cylinder Perkins diesel into it, and as far as I know it was still going strong down in the West Country in 2005.

We had some bad experiences in the past with Discovery's (200, 300 & TD5) where gear boxes dropped out on a regular basis and Land Rover appeared to think that this was just normal. However last year, after a 7 year break from all Land Rover products, I bought a Freelander 2 MY11 for my wife, and I must admit that I have been very, very impressed with it.

Well back to my RRS - I went for a Baltic Blue HSE, with a Ivory leather interior. Also went for the privacy glass (drug dealers glass! LOL) and the black wood trim.

Negotiated a very good deal with a chap named Ryan over at Stratsone, Newport Pagnell.

Bought my wifes Freelander from Marshalls of Bedford, but when it came to the RRS they came up with some silly figures when it came to negotiating a deal?

Anyway.......good forum, with knowlegable folk giving out sound advice.

Hi everyone, i stumbled over this site whilst researching RRS, been wanting one for a long time and finally made the decision to buy myself i've been trawling thorugh all the feedback and technical stuff and its helped to decide upon a 4.2ltr Supercharged. I'm aiming to buy one in march as i'm hoping there will be a little drop in price with the registration plate changes. Coming from Disco 3 Metropolis, its a bit more potent! RRS MY12 SE Siberian Silver, Ocean, Ivory and Walnut.
3.0 SDV6 256hp, 8 speed autobox with flappy paddles, Factory fitted options: Privacy glass, tow pack, heated seats, heated steering wheel, RSE, centre cool box, premium carpets, mood lighting,vision pack and memory pack.
