Scotland 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Hi,

Just registered on the site tonight so thought i'd say Happy New Year to everyone.

I got a 2007 RRS last month, it;s my first one and i love it to bits. Prior to getting it i had a S4, nice but nowhere near as good as the RRS. Only thing i'm not sure about is the 22" wheels, i was thinking of downsizing..maybe 20", any advise welcome.

Hi and welcome Al, happy new year to you too, and congratulations on getting your 1st sport Thumbs Up i run 22's on mine throughout summer and 19's in winter, yes the 19's are a little bit more comfortable than the 22's but i like the look of a sport on 22's Thumbs Up i don't go offroading so they arn't a problem for me just look out for big pot holes Mr. Green 19's have more protection with the higher profile tyre as will 20's which you are considering, its a personal thing i think. Wink

Al S, I'm currently thinking of changing from 20" to 22" I've got a set of (very) recently refurbished Stormers with new Hankook tyres all round if you wanted do do a £ plus exchange? Range Rover Sport HSE and for a bit of weekend fun a S1 Lotus Elise with a few track biased additions!

@ beancounter
The RSS is cheaper than a new A6 with the same options. I got 20% off the price here in Germany, because my sister is handicapped.
It`s a pity, that I couldn`t pick up the RRS from the factory in Solihull.

England 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Hi all stumbled in via google.
I'm currently selling my car to enable me to buy my first rr sport Thumbs Up
I know nothing at all about these motors so looking forward to pastures new.
looking to spend 20k max on a black hse, there seems to be plenty on the market.
So any advice would be great.
Cheers

I'm sure i wont be dissapointed.
Are the 2.7 engines good for lots of miles if looked after?
Any common faults to look out for?
Seems to be alot selling around 90/100,000 mile mark.

Reason is that the TDV6 engine requires a cambelt change at 105,000 miles/7 years - it's about an £800 job. Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!
