Just had a phoncall from Mrs ST. She has the RRS today and this is the 1st time she's driven it since fitting Stormers.

When I drove the V6HSE and S/C back to back, I thought (and so did the wife from the passengers seat) that the S/C was actually a better ride, with better damping. I actually went through the top end of Nuneaton where the road surface is appauling with sunken manhole covers (Martin probably knows where this is), and tried to hit every one I could. I'd swear that the S/C coped better with the surface than the 19" wheels on the HSE. Mind you, after a Jeep, anything is an improvement! Bob. RRS 4.2 S/C. Zermatt. Tints. Stormers. 150+ paint defects, wonkey bonnet, scratches, detached doorseal. suspension faults. To sum it up, a 60k pile of cr4p! |
