I think ST is means Anti Roll Management ( ARM ) which in the RRS's case is the Dynamic Stability Control as fitted to the Supercharged - and other than this ........ is there or should there be any other difference between s/c and HSE suspension set up/settings?

ANSWER = Sorry no idea Banging Head

ARM is Active Roll Management.

Firms the suspension on either side dependant on which way you're cornering.

Prevents wallow and roll side to side. Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

ARM is a definite LR term.

Is Dynamic response not to do with pitch as opposed to roll? Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

The Dynamic Response is the system that pumps up the outside air springs in a corner to stop the car "rolling".

OK Here We Go A.R.M. & Dynamic Response

A.R.M. = Active Roll Mitigation

This function is activated if the vehicle is forced into such a harsh emergency avoidance manoeuvre that it risks tipping over. The vehicles motion is monitored by electronic sensors. At a given risk level, the ARM function steps in and cuts the engines power or brakes one or more wheels,just enough to help the vehicle regain its poise and help the driver remain in control.

This is part of a list of the Land Rover CONTROL SYTEMS fitted to our cars

inc.

ABS = Four channel Anti Lock Braking System
EBD = Elctronic Brakeforce Distibution
EBA = Emergency Brake Assist
DSC = Dynamic Stability Control
ETC = Electronic Traction Control
HDC = Hill Decent Control
Terrain Response
Electronic Park Brake

So now lets look at DYNAMIC RESPONSE

DR is a hydraulically-powered,electronically-controlled,fast acting roll control system.
With DR,the anti-roll baris in two parts,connected by an electronically controlled hydraulic actuator. The electronic control unit senses when the vehicle is cornering and twists the anti-roll bar the opposite way to that caused by body roll. The effect is to keep the body level through the corner without loss of grip to the inside wheels. DR improves cornering performance and comfort of the occupants.
DR is extremely sensitive and will make continuous small movements even on normal straight roads. This improves stability and poise and reduces driver and passenger fatigue.

So there you have it ARM is for all RRS's = as part of all the control systems ........& then there's the option of DR for the ultimate in cornering control.

This was certainally my experience of the "with" and "without" cars. In fact, I was suprised how marked the difference was.

Bob, if you went head to head with Martin, you may lose on the RRS question front but you've got a good chance of beating him on the hair count! Wink Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad
