the noise from DAS boot area is still as loud as ever. I really don't have a clue what is causing this and think it may be a trip to ther dealer.

ST, I had an Audi TT a few years ago that sounded (and felt) like there were a couple of housebricks loose in the boot when I went round a corner. It was a very violent bang that could be felt through the whole car. After a few months, I tracked it down to a badly ajusted tailgate, it was moving slightly in time to the cornering forces, suddenly jumping across the rubber stops.
I cured it by winding out the stops a little, and never had any trouble after that.

Bob. RRS 4.2 S/C. Zermatt. Tints. Stormers. 150+ paint defects, wonkey bonnet, scratches, detached doorseal. suspension faults. To sum it up, a 60k pile of cr4p!

Cheers Bob! I think (Hope!) you may have just hit the preverbial nail....

I wonder if this could be linked to the poorly fitted Rear hatch which is scratching the lower part of the boot.

I shall investigate further.
