No you could be rite. I did hear something like that last year. But we had sod all snow down here last year. If the police said only in emergency to drive then the insurance will not pay out in an accident. Be good to know for sure. You know what the insurance companies are like! |

Can't see it coming to that personally. How can the police get the message to all drivers? What happens if you're halfway through a journey when they announce it's too dangerous? There will be too many grey areas for insurers to overcome. 2015 Golf R DSG

I think its more if the police spotted you going past or moving a roadblock sign,then you crashed off the road due to deep snow/ice .

There lies another problem for you if you choose to ignore the road closed sign, Failing to observe a traffic sign, 3 points on your licence and a £60 fine. |
