Got back to car tonight and my 19" spare has been stolen! It's a black 5 spoke alloy with brand new tyre! If anyone hears of this or see one being sold in the north west area let me know as I will kill them......cable been cut......

Ray I was going to get one the other week and never! Can u send me details of how to buy one of your guards, a scapey in Birkenhead has wheels but already sold winch to someone else who has had same problem, best place to get a winch??? It was in the orient car park 50 yards from the front door. Going to contact trafford centre now but what can I do??? I keep checking eBay incase wheel goes on there but I doubt it...

Glad i got the wheel protector off RLD months ago, otherwise it could of been me posting this, ive been to the trafford centre recently. Next time i think i will go in the mrs motor

Spoke to trafford centre and they want me to pay them to see CCTV, cheeky sods!!! Not worth doing as I'm at most going to get a reg, the police won't do anything and will be left to me so best I don't know!!!! Not going to carry a spare now, will buy crap wheel and tyre and keep in garage, worst case I get towed home from AA

I'd tell them that i am a reporter for the manchester evening news and if they don't investigate the matter i will publish their security procedure in the paper, or lack of it. I'm sure they will be more than helpful

what are people doing with these spare wheels , surely its not the sort of thing that you can flog down the local pub
