Had many BMW's over the past 15 years and just come out of an X5 and the RRS knocks its socks off. RR Sport TDV8 09 Santorini Black with all the trimmings |

They don't seem to have engine problems, but there are niggly things like knocking on front suspension on older models. If you are buying new you won't get the tdv8 though, I've got the new jag engined v6 2010 and it does me!

That's what I want to hear lol im tempted for the RRS but the power output on a x5 is higher especially on their 3.5d engine. |

I had a BMW M5 (507BHP) before my RRS TDV8 and I am telling you the RRS is perfect!!! Forget power etc... ofcourse BMW's 4x4 are quicker as they are lighter etc etc.... but when a RRS drives by people look but when an X5 goes by = An X6 is just a waste of money.. I was so tempted by it but look at the spec on them, they are so overpriced for what they are!!! TBH the M5 was terrible, up hills it would struggle due to the way the torque curve sits.... you would have to floor it! Get a RRS TDV8 with good spec and you will love it! |

I went from an BMW 540 to a Audi S8 to a Z3 M roadster (wrote it off) to a Honda Accord Type R to a BMW 645 to a BMW M5 and now a RRS!!! MPG 17-19 in town.... Not the best but compared to the M5 it's amazing!!! |

as an old tyre advert said "power is nothing without control!!" the x5 may have the edge on power, but the rrs has 60lb/ft of torque more, which helps slingshot past cars on country roads!!

Another thing that puts me off is the thing about diesel they say everything is going to go hybrid...but that doesn't make sense with the millions of cars...diesel will keep going up and up thought |

I need to look into the list of extras that the RRS has to offer before I buy so I know what I can get for my money. |

nothing missing vs the X5 except the HUD, which was cool but a gimmick

Keep in mind that all TDV8's are HSE spec, but not all HSE's are TDV8's.
