ooooh, just seen them, they look a bit too shiny for me I think. I want something to off road/soft road with, and needed something that I wont be too precious over. Already taken a couple of chunks out of my 20in rims but have learnt my lesson.

Desperate to play out but cant until I get new (old) wheels. It definately wasnt me!

cannot believe this forum, I feel like I have come in from the wilderness. In ten mins I have discovered how to clean my plastic trim using Peanut Butter (the smooth stuff), and there are loads of threads covering all of the things I had wondered about, but darent ask my local LR dealer about in case I disturb thier sleep.

first post for me, coming in from the San Francisco Bay Area in California (US). i'm in the market for a 2012 RRS SC! the 2012 SCs haven't really rolled into the dealerships here on the western US, but they seem to be coming in elsewhere in the states.

since i'm here, i thought i'd ask my first question: do the UK RRS models all get the nice and flush gear selector knob? i haven't seen that on pictures of the 2012 RRS's coming to the US so far.

Hi and welcome richard, the uk 2012 model s/c range rover sport still has the 6 speed gearbox so it still has the gear knob and not the dial like on the new 3.0 diesel

I thought I would post a quick "hello" !

The site appears to be really informative, particularly for someone like me who is in the market for a new used RRS.

As a bit of history, I previously owned a Freelander 2 Auto diesel when they came out. The ownership experience was good, great car to drive, felt well built and a nice place to sit. The only downside was the extortionate main dealer servicing costs.

They charged £450 for its first annual service at only 7k miles !
I have owned numerous BMW and Mercs in the past and none of those dealers charge that for a basic service !

Anyway, now on the hunt for an RRS ! Proud owner of a 2008 TDV8 HSE.....and an Audi A3 2.0T DSG Cab and a Porsche 911 Turbo (Mercedes W208 320 CLK and Mercedes W124 E220 Estate now gone)
