I think having seen how they fit on now, I'd take them off with the wheels still on.

Laughing Yep, it's me alright! They really do transform the look of the car.

Definitely makes the ride more 'Bobbly' though and a bit firmer but I THINK it's worth the trade off. Still much more comfortable than the BMW Sport.

I disagree about the side steps though. Personally, I think they just finish off the look of the car (Plus Mrs ST bless her is only 5' 2 1/2" tall and they are proper, functioning steps!) Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Point 1. You are wrong. Simple as! Ner Ner

Point 2. My black centre caps were seperate (I bought off a certain deserter from RRSville) so they just pooped in nice and easy. Having seen how easy they are to fit, if I were to remove them in the future, I think I would be confident enough to remove them with the wheel in situ.

As you will be removing your S/C wheels, this won't be a problem for you as you can remove yours from the back of the wheel, not the front.

It is too much of a job to remove a wheel just to pop out the centre cap.

Mine came around 2.30pm yesterday but that is much further away than you. Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

I think I may have caused myself problems by fitting 20's! Sad

I have noticed that the ride has firmed up quite a bit and this has now lead to more noticable noises from around the inside of the car.

Any bumps in the road now causes:

Cracking noises from the dash construction,
A slight rattle from drivers side B pillar,
The seatbelt on the passenger side to knock against the little round block it sits against on the belt,
A thump from the rear of the car which I thought was the parcel shelf. So I retracted it fully and still does it. It sounds as though the floor panel in the boot lifts up and bangs back down. Except it doesn't!

Has the rot set in?

My Beemer is firmer still and after 50k is still rattle free. Not a great advert for build quality! Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad
