It'll be under a 3yr warranty...so why bother. If the EPB fails then take it back. As others say, this sounds like a right money spinner. |

Dave, are you sure about that. I have just engaged it manually to test this. If it is engaged manually and you then just drive off without disengaging there is a definate feel & sound of it disengaging. I never get this normally when I have not engaged the park brake. That would suggest to me that if I have not engaged it manually then it does not engage at all. That said, I am quite happy if i'm proved wrong, It's just an observation. Endjin, it was the same with both my RRS's and now on the FFRR, EPB engages automatically after a while of the car being parked. Maybe it's another of those mystery Dealer enabled things but as I say it has been enabled on both cars purchased from LPR and the one bought from Morrison's Land Rover in Stirling 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Hmm, This is odd I wonder if there is a difference in the way it disengages then, depending on how it was engaged? i.e. If engaged manually it has to be disengaged manually or overriden by just driving off but, if it is engaged automatically by the car after ignition is turned off, it then disengages itself at ignition on? Otherwise why would you not get the obvious feel & sound of disengagement under both conditions? I'm not going to try and think about this too much.... I've only had one coffee so far this morning and my brain is starting to hurt! Life as an LR owner........
