Yes absolutely despite their little foibles they are absolutely amazing just make sure you buy well,have a long test drive and go through it with a very fine tooth comb before you sign for it.

Yes you should buy a RRS. Dealers are the best place to buy them from but you will pay a premium. I have come from the german side also, audi s4 and rs4 and while the build quality is not as good as the german marques, the RRS more than makes up for it in other ways.

Yes but a RRS without a warranty is pointless, so LR extended warranty is the way to go

YES,main LR dealer, you pay a bit more but it's well worth it,i had mine in yesterday for faulty handbrake & it would have cost £300 to sort if it was'nt covered by warranty. Andy. Gone,,TDV8 arctic frost,black leather,colour coded handles,rear entertainment,sunroof. 1980 Rolls Royce,shadow 2 in white. Gone 07/57 TDV8 santorino,black leather.chrome handle's/mirror's. Gone 02/52 FFRR vogue. |

I think the best bet for you would be the latest you can get with a V8 with some residual full warranty funds permitting which would give you the best of all worlds,performance,soundtrack and peace of mind.
