Guernsey 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

I have had this rearview camera system installed but I abandoned the number-plate camera in favour of one which is installed in the spoiler. The cable runs through the spoiler and follows the existing wiring that runs from the spoiler (for the rear light) into the inside of the vehicle. Hence nothing can be seen.

Also this has enabled me to poosition the camera exactly in the middle and to adjust it so that I can just see the edge of the car at the bottom of the screen. In this way I think I get the most benefit from the picture.

I agree this is what I would've done if I had know! But in too much of a hurry to fit at the time, didn't have another camera handy but it might be something I do at a later stage

What camera did you use? I'd like to see pictures of both the camera mounted under spoiler and the picture on the screen showing how much of your car you can see Thumbs Up Cheers Laurence.

Maybe Ian from HIDs4U would be able to help........ Or even get his suppliers to start manufacturing one that can be cut into the trim where the rear washer is.....

I got the camera from www.c-ko.co.uk/rvcameras.html. It is model CH-KR19 (with guidelines). As it fits under the spoiler the cable can be run through the existing cable ducting. Also it can be poistioned centrally. The following pictures may be useful. The one of the display shows the edge of the tailgate just visible at the bottom of the picture. The guidelines are very clear and the night-time picture is OK.
