What the hell is this??

Got a sunroof in my S/C only really open it on the tilt setting. But today I opened it right up, all went well quite well until I hit a bump in the road. I heard a bang above me like something springing up it was then I looked up at my sunroof and see this hideous piece of metal attached to a lump of dirty old rubber flapping about above me!! Big Cry Big Cry

My 1980 ford Capri had a better wind deflector than this piece of reclaimed tyre wall. Is this what was fitted from new and sold at over £60K or has somebody broken the original and been to Halfords? It looks dreadful

Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Mr. Green  Cheers Laurence.

Try driving at high speeds with the sunroof open (and windows shut) and then pull the rubber deflector down, you will then see how good it works!

i know the feeling Big Cry tend to keep mine closed due to it

serves a purpose though, a few thousand dead flies or picking up a sunroof thats been torn off with it opening on the outside
