I popped in there 3 times over the past few months when looking for my RRS and was treated with complete indifference. I don't know if it was the way I looked or what but they couldn't care less.

Lancaster's stand alone service dept in Thatcham is great, we have dealt with Ian the manager for many years. They collect the car from our offices in Henley, all warranty work is carried out efficently, he is always keen on pricing for servicing as well... |

From personal experience Harwoods can be a bit hit and miss, the same goes for the Jaguar dealership also on site. It shouldn't be the case, but unfortunately it is.............shame really because the Jaguar day they organised was brilliant and Guy Harwood was a great host. Last time I went in there I walked within 5 minutes as the salesmen on offer looked inadequate to tie my shoe lace let alone sell me a car.

The sales guy was ok until i picked up the car.The car mats were wrong,the boot liner didint turn up.So had to go down to them (about 40min drive) to get them when they were in.Went into the reception and was told by the sales guy there is your stuff swap the mats over and bring the others back in.Thought they could have done this for me.The worst thing was the wing didnt line up with the door it really stood out.Was told by the warrenty person and the workshop manager the car will have to go back into the body shop but best bet to take it back to reading to get it sorted.The bodyshop guy at reading was really good and could not believe the way i have been treated and how it left the garage like that..Land rover uk have now offered to pay for the first service.May be after being a lexus customer for the last 10 years i am expecting too much!! |

My experience with the Service side at Harwoods (and in their previous incarnation as Webbers) was dismal . Salesman on the other hand was good and TBH seemed embarassed by my experiences with Service. To be fair I haven't been back to them in 3 years as a result, so things might have changed. Doesn't sound like it though, from your experience tigertrout... |

I was in there last week and was in and out within 10 minutes. The salesperson I spoke to didnt seem interested at all, ill not be going back despite it being my local garage. |

They are spot on in my experience - used them for lots of warranty issues. FIr prices and if you become a regular you can normally command discounts
