Help needed my keyfob wont work unless i split it out off the case ? Its a 3 button for my 2005 range rover sport hse 2.7tdv6. Queshion would this be a rf recieve issue and if so we're can i locate please any help be greatly appreciated ..

You've posted this in the wrong section really so may not get too many replies. Try searching on this site and the Disco 3 site as there's loads of information on ways to repair your fob . It may just need a new battery soldered in. Or you could try contacting forum member RRUK who offers a repair service.
Best to avoid buying a replacement from dealership if possible as they charge about £150 and another £50 or so to code it to the car. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Many thanks you wont beleive the replacement key from ebay like orignal the buttons werent touching the board at all solved with piece of plastic now all work never gad that before thanks paddi for reply

I can give you a telephone number of a guy in Sevenoaks that will cut you a new key from a photograph and post it to you to have it programmed by your local Indy (we can program his keys with Autologic)

If you opent he case for the new key you will find they are stamped Visteon like the originals and have rechargable batteries like the originals but for a fraction of the cost and without the bull poop of the documents required from the dealer.
