I don't think this is the place to be airing this - you are better off talking direct to Kahn about your problems, especially as we are over a year on. Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HST Bonatti Grey

hi martin
i think its great that you have come on this site .. though do expect a little stick Smile i have a 2006 sport supercharged hst in bonatti grey with te kahn body kit and alloys and i absolutely adore it .... though we have ahd a few ups and downs especially when we first had the car (customer service wasnt very good in fact very unproffesional... but then again range rover were not much better!) we have a few issues with the bits of the interior trim lifting and we have been told that the display for the temp gauge is slightly off but thats the way kahn do it?!!! my only problem really is that range rover dont seem to want anything to do with anything that kahn have touched which doesnt really give you much confidence but saying that as stated before i love it and yes it may be shalllow but if i can turn a few heads when driving a car that is now nearly five years old thats good to me! though i do need some new front alloys as my boyfirend keeps clipping the curb! Wink
One more thing Martin... I'm getting rear tyre wear on the inside of the tyres and the wheels from the back look like they flare out leaning on the inside of the tyre ... I have 22" Kahn alloys on what could be causing the tyre wear do you think?

2011 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Santorini Black

Here's one of the rare notes of aggrandizement for Kahn. I'm just a consumer. I don't work for them.

I've talked to a couple of Kahn representatives and they've been more than welcome and available... fully attentive to my inquiries and affable as well.

No offense, but I sense a lot of the negatives are based on 2nd, 3rd hand experience rather than direct in which actual dollars/euros/BPs are exchanged (i.e. when it truly counts). I often see enthusiasts cutting corners, hiring vendors based on price alone. In order for aftermarket kits to look their best, you also need to couple it with top drawer install service. You can't blame the product. It's the guy with the wallet you need to point the finger at. It's like casting aspersion on the doctor for the grim prognosis when the patient chain smokes and eats animal products exclusively. Really now?

Truthfully, Kahn's success only means more options for us, the consumer, so I encourage them to continue to work hard at developing the brand by continually improving the product. Sure, we've all been victims of poor manufacturing and at the hands of much, much larger corps. Not making excuses, but I hope all these vendors continue to listen to customer feedback. I know Kahn is per my recent engagement regarding their lowering module (works great thus far) and the bootlid spoiler (looks rather natty in my eyes).

Thanks, Kahn! Keep up the good work.

i am talking from experiance, after spending plenty of ££££££ on their products, and the car was in Premier bodyshops which is one of the best in the UK, doing all Official Warantee work for Porshe GB, they also do hte usual Lambo's bentleys etc.

obviously aftermarket companies, unless they are brabus, do not have the funds to produce quality to OEM standard, but customers services, lies and excuses is what insulted me, if your good enough to admit your product is substandard, at least have the deceny to replace it or fix it! RR Sport supercharged 06

Im trying to understand why anyone would buy an HST and then fit an Kahn Body kit & wheels.. all and hst offers is Body Kit and wheel

regarding the regarding the rears tyres, sounds like the camber has been played abut with, get it into a camber specialist place and they will put it right.

Apologies as i have not been on in a few days,

i would suggest getting the camber on the car checked as this may be the issue. in relation to getting 2 new alloys i have sent you a P.M.

Im not for a single minute saying that people havent had problems in the past but i can assure you that now it is a very different situation and that is the perception i am trying to change.

Our customer service and aftercare is now a paramount point of our business.

X5pea. u do get about dont you. (its martin, golf on 20s from e38> met you at biggar show.)

my case and situation is well known to Kahn, why dont you see if you can have the issues i had compensated/ rectified, and then i will once again be a happy customer and be able to talk about how Kahn realised the mistakes made and lack of quality but managed to eventually make me a happy customer?

i think thats fair enough no? maybe partial refund, or replacement parts for another car.... RR Sport supercharged 06
