Right im not too sure how Revere carry out their process however we paint the calipers again 5-6 times to ensure there is a quality radiant factory finish, 2-3 coats of clearcoat laquer then apply fresh Brembo decals. thats the process we go by.

SP. how long ago did you have the problems you experienced with us? obviously times change, products and materials change too. We, as a company are a very different company from how we used to be and the materials we use are second to none. All kits are carbon composite and are as good as a factory finish. Foxy will vouch for this as she visited me at the showroom this week, as is anyone who would like anything done to their cars before they go ahead with the works.

was about 2-3 years ago, i got every excuse under the sun, the bodyshop were cowboys (premier bodyshops in luton (porsche official bodyshop))

i was washing the car with some sort of accidic cleaner taking the chrome off the chrome fittings... erm no i dont wash my car with accid

then i got told, what do you expect? its chrome covered plastic, it will obviously peel off.

when i said they were under a year old and under warantee, as i baught the car off someone else the warantee did not pass over to me...

the best was the man himself, when we discussed buying a car from them, he wanted to throw a new kit @ me complimentory, he then changed his mind....

even though i introduced 2 or 3 ppl who purchased bentleys and range rovers from V12online...

SP - for the amount of gobbing off you are doing, you'd really think you might first learn to use a spell checker, just to make sure you don't look a complete tit. the forum even provides a handy thing when replying that highlights any mistakes you have made..... technology is wonderful

I would normally be the first to stick the knife in SP when he is talking but in this thread he has just told us about his bad experience with Kahn of the past.....which I am grateful for as I am looking to get works done that he has had done previously.....isn't that what this forum is all about?

Kahn seem somewhat re-assuring about their new business plan but I don't blame SP....once bitten, twice shy......

And he's thick skinned to still come on here and post about RRSs after the abuse in the past......

Abuse where its due is fine but as much as it goes against the grain of my previous encounters with SP......thanks for your input on your Kahn experiences

Big Pimp... you are right, it does look like Crap... and thats because ITS THE KAHN KIT! it was taken off because it was rubbishly made, warped and couldnt be painted properly...

i have a right to run my mouth when all the money i spent on the junk didnt fit right, didnt get painted right and was all just rubbish!

no help fixing it or replacing it, constantly getting fobbed off when i spoke to them, UNTIL i expressed an interest in buying a car, then i was told from the man himself "we have had problems with the materials they were never very good, dont worry il give you a cosworth kit" and then told when i didnt buy the car, "the boss thought he had washed his hands of the situation.

its all junk, good marketing, maybe the quality has got better, but once bitten and twice shy!

As for the front bumper - I actually like the look of the big air vent thing above your number plate, not so much the chrome foglight covers

Look, you've been burned in the past by Kahn and the MD is trying to show that times are changing. Your method of letting others know your displeasure is a bit unprofessional though, running a company into the ground.

to be honest,

ive tried to resolve it, sank alot of money into the Kahn products, and they knew of my car well! its a shame they didnt try and rectify it.

i tried asking nicely and got fobbed off with stories constantly, to the extent it looked so bad that i just removed the kit all together and dumped it, might as well of burnt my money!

tried for a year to rectify it... spoke to them directly, and just got told stories, after spending almost 10k inc fitting, painting on their products... just to remove it a year later wouldnt you also be anoied? RR Sport supercharged 06
