Gave the RRS a good clean today and now it's dried I have noticed water type marks on the aluminium part of the side steps? These are new and weren't there yesterday

It's whatever chemical you use to clean it with.... You'll have to use a metal polish to buff them out MY10 HSE 3.0 TDV6 : Santorini Black : Ebony Interior w/Anigre wood : Privacy Glass (total) : Sunroof : Sidesteps : Hybrid TV : Detachable Tow Kit : Spare Wheel Cover : 22" Dished Supersports |

Crikey, I'm a bit of a detailing freak and use PH neutral cleaner?! I've got some Autosol metal polish, will that do the trick? |

Exactly! It's the first time I've cleaned it since I bought it so it's all a learning curve at the moment. So Autosol will do the trick then? |

Did you get them fitted by the LR dealer and is your car still in warranty? Might be worth a try and claim. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Right, I've been scrubbing these marks with Autosol and it's not making a single bit of difference

Well I'm not going to do that! I've only had them on 8 weeks so I'll get a new set on warranty. |

You won't get them on warranty if it's something you've used to clean them! SDV6 HSE Sport2 - Santorini Black, Ebony Interior, Pano Roof, Things I haven't found yet!
