Windscreen washer Motor

Hi Does anyone know where i can find the fuse for the windscreen washer motor? its not under the bonnet as ive looked loads of fuses there , but not for the washer. It was making its noise the other day but now it does not make a sound i know its frozen but the motor should still sound even if no water comes out Right??????

No! Mine have frozen and you can't hear the the motor when trying to engage. Fuse box is behind the lower glove box. RTFM! Wink 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Is there a seperate fuse for the windscreen washers ?? also the motor runs when you push the stick. ..My old Ford ranger has got just water in the bottle & they work..

My windscreen washer fuse keeps blowing. It is a 10A fuse which is number 11 if I remembr rightly behind the glovebox. Is a right PITA to change too if you got gorilla hands.

Hi,
I have had the same problem, keep blowing the 10 amp fuse for the washer motor. I done some digging and found that LR have issued a Service Bulletin that tells you to uprate the fuse to a 15amp and place a new label on the back of the glove box telling you that fuse F11 is now 15 amp.
Happy New Year guy's.

Hi All... Well finallly got to the bottom of why my washer jets would not work.. i must have tried to make them work when there was ice in the motor & it broke all the impeller blades off. Hence no water i took it to the local LR Dealer, their mechanic told me it was abitch of a job "The front wheel had to be removed the mud gaurd had to be totally removed then the motor could be accessed He said it would be a 30-45 min job & cost about £60.00. I bought the new motor of them£17.00.. stuck it on my mates ramp took 4 screws out at the front of the mud gaurd & pulled it back 8 inches left the wheel on ..motor for the windscreen pump was easily accessable changed the motors over, put the 4 screws back in & hey presto it works fine ..Total time to do the job was 12mins.. Ps There are 2 motors for the washers 0ne for the lights & one for the front & rear screen

Happy new year to you all Very Happy Very Happy
