The look of concentration on his face was a picture as we drove past!! The look was "My foot is down but I'm not going forward, WHYYYYYYYY?". 5 mins with a shovel would have had him out but can't be any Porker drivers carry shovels in the snow.

Even though the RRS/D3 has the best terrain management about I had to cry when I saw a woman in her D3 abandon her car at the bottom of a hill and cause huge problems with the traffic behind her. If you get a RRS/D3 the very least you should do is learn how to drive the thing, other normal front & back wheel drive cars had no problems on the incline apart from trying to get past the abandoned D3!

2nd'd

I agreed to take my wife's 320 Beemer to the nearest gritted A-road for her this morning, around 3 miles... anyway.. off I go...wife following.. slip sliding away but keeping the momentum and apart form the odd tail wag everything went well... Parked up on a nice level semi gritted bit and waited for my wife to catch me up (in the RRS)... 5 MINUTES LATER she finally rolled up.. "where the hell have you been" I shivered.. "Don;t have a go at me! I cannot drive in the snow" she replied...

No hope... the RRs hardly noticed the snow on the return trip.... so what she was doing I have no idea! RRS gone

Coming up "the hill" towards the shell station out of cobham sat morning .was like an expensive car park .and some of the driving !!!!! cars struggling to get up the hill, then when realising its not going to happen ,they do a 3 pt turn INTO the thicker snow in middle of road .and wonder why they got stuck !! ,oh then watching women (and men but mainly women ) drive as if nothing untoward is happening in there people carriers ,on the phone !!!! these idiots get what they deserve ,STUCK !

point of principle ,if your that stupid and get stuck ,i aint towing you out.

phew rant over !

Porker gone this morning. Did a drive around Cobham Saturday but roads mostly empty. Did wait til a people mover backed down Knipp Hill, once could get round him calmly drove up said hill. Now Bob the Builder is back roads are a bit busier. Starting to snow now so will be chaos in couple of hours! Rolling Eyes
