I actually have exactly the same thing. My car has recently beed serviced for knocking suspension, but after few weekd since the service I have exactly the same problem as Vadim. When the car is cold for the first 10-15 minutes I have an annoing knocking, wchich improves significantly after the car wamrs up.

hmm interesting, since they told you they knew what the problem was, did you manage to ask what was it? I actually have an info that it is actually not a problem, it has something to do with the cold weather and the temperature of suspension. Hence once it warms up it functions properly... and the knocking stops..

Finally, I decided to book my RRS to see what causes the problem. I have not had any updates yet, but will come back when I hear from Lookers Park Royal. It has been there for 1.5 days now hopefully they have good news! But it looks like the car will have to stay with them for a couple of more days. Vadim A. |

Very interesting. I have the same noise although it doesn't trouble me enough to bother with the dealer. I'm surprised that a MY10 RRS needs attention such as this so early in its life. The handling is still good.

I had the same, NJF. I have just about 6.5k miles on the clock. The noise did not bother me at all and it would disappear within 4-5 miles drive, but I booked it in just for the sake of it. It should make no noise after all... I will be able to say how it drives now on Monday. Will let you know. Vadim A. |
