Wind whistling through drivers door?

I drove upto Carlisle this morning and noticed a very annoying wind whistling through the drivers door (door and window shut properly). Anyone had this issue before or know if this would be covered on lr extended warranty? It's not even windy at the moment so I dread to think what it will be like in the winter. Oh and this was only driving at 70mph.

Have you checked you door rubber (seal). Might have a spilt in it. Has the door had any work done to it? Think should be covered on warranty but good luck. Thumbs Up

I'm reviving this topic because i think i have the same problem with mine. I have checked the seals and although they are starting to peel they are not split. When i look along the A pillar on the drivers side the door frame is tight at the base of the glass but proud of the a pillar at the top of the door. This is echoed on the rear door on the drivers side.

Yesterday i pulled over because after hearing the wind noise and thinking the window was down i thought my drivers front door was open. It wasn't and the noise annoyed the heck out of my from that point on.

The passenger side is a very tight fit all around and is silent compared to the drivers.

I don't think its had any work / damage but cant say for sure, it just looks like its original and i am not a novice with bodywork fault finding.

Anyone know if its possible to adjust the door so its a tighter fit around the top which will form a better seal?

I'm going to replace the weather seals on the body of the car (the single seal that runs above both front and rear doors and is attached to the body not the doors) but want to have the doors realigned first.

Anyone ?

Thanks

Carl
