So, my plan of action would be to get it moved to Guava or at least speak to them and get a second opinion. |

It is dead, there was swarf in the oil but not in filter or gearbox oil. The engine is well and truly seized! |

Who serviced it last? You may be able to pin some blame on them! |

Guava serviced it a week before but it had been running fine. |

Well surely you should be declaring war on them! Not only have they shafted your engine, but they've completely wrecked the resale value of your car. |

Have a search on DISCO3 side, fair few occurrences of engines packing up (same lump, RRS being a D3 in drag). Lots of them full of oil, either injector failure or crank failing (me non techie do don't know details). Bobby, these engine do seem to die like that. I know 2 peeps that have had engines go like that. Unfortunately the phrase "bullet proof" does not apply to these engines! |
