I bet some fresh spark plugs & maybe a new coil pack would sort it.

Clogged up fuel filter is a possible answer but all these sort of problems seem to revolve around the EGR valves. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Thanks, are they easily resolved and how much? It's about 3 hours work for EGR valves IIRC. £120 ph at LR or cheaper at independents. Some people opt for blanking the EGR valves off - they say the performance is better. Best Wishes Gary |

Don't think so as it currently seems to only be when I'm pulling away? I also filled up yesterday after running it almost down to the fumes showing a 0 miles left to travel in the computer. Could this have caused it? Best Wishes Gary |

If you had sludge in your tank then yes it could be a problem - do you use cheap supermarket diesel? 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

As above if you ran it to the death then i could well be a fueling problem, supermarket fuels are notorious for poor quality. Maybe worth getting some treatment in it before spending an arm and leg at stealers getting it checked. |
