If i remove the spare wheel would it reduce the weight of the car and improve its performance?

Yes it would reduce weight - it will also reduce performance if you get a puncture....

Try filling your tyres with balloon helium they'll become balloons and make your car lighter

Run it on empty as the fuel weight is quiet high, and you'll get the best mpg too, as you'll be on a tow truck, just like you would if you got a puncture

Top Tip (remember those from Viz?)

Go for a big dump before each drive, might help the MPG......

Nowt wrong with taking rear seats out, row 2 & 3 in my case, but don't think I've saved much weight!!
