sasquatch offroad adjustable sensor rods INSTALLED!

finally got them put on over the weekend. i shortened the rods about 10mm which should equate to a 1.5" to 2" lift. sorry for the crappy camera pics. these ones in the garage are to show immediately before and after, with the slight difference being the front wheel turned a bit. if you look real close at the clearance on the rear wheels, you can notice the difference. i won't bother posting the comparison pics at each height, but you can check out the full set on Flickr. and now the pics, click thru for the fullsize pics.

here's an old pic i dug up after i got my nittos

here's a similar pic with the new offroad height

Is this an easy mod? did you make new rods?

Suppose the on road hieght is effectivley the old off road height

what the heck happens when you hit something underneath with the extra 1 - 2 inch lift, does it go into super super extended mode

yes this is an extremely easy mod. all it takes is a flat head screwdriver to help you pop off the existing rods and these just slide right on in its place. these rods are from sasquatch off road. LRL Mag did a write up on it.

same exact rods for our vehicles. yes, my current normal height is roughly equivalent to the standard offroad height.

That's awesome, where do you get the new rods? I gotta have 'em! Do you have a contact number or email address for them? The LRL link has gone bad. Any long term effects from running them?

Thanks!
Charlie

if you keep the rods on full time, you'll want to get a 4 wheel alignment.

on a side note, i'm needing to replace my nittos soon and seriously considering going to the goodyear dura tracs in 275/65-18. any thoughts on if the spare will fit underneath?

what about the ride quality on the new standard height. Isn't more bumpy because air suspension is working like being in offroad mode? 2009 Range Rover Sport 2.7 TDV6 SE, Alaska White, Almond leather, tinted windows, active rear diff, tow pack, HiICE, full spare: gone and already missed

i didn't really notice a difference in ride quality. i wouldn't think it'd be more bumpy b/c it's not like i'm down in access height and right on the verge of the bump stops. i can definitely notice the height difference and it's effect on handling.
