Yep, My 2 week old car also has this problem. I noticed it when I picked the car up
on day 1. Dealer advised run with it for a few weeks and see if it clears so I will do as
they ask. If it does not clear then I will be asking for a warranty repair or replacement.
The argument of it being "normal" is a load of tosh!! My 2007 RRS HSE never displayed this
problem once in the 2 1/2 years I owned it! This is an issue with the "new" headlight units. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

Update on progress with LR Customer Services. LR 'technical' still saying condensation is representative of Land Rover headlamp although it was acknowledged that there are a number of reports of this problem being experienced. I have been advised not to expect an early resolution even though LR admit this problem would probably affect resale value. Evil or Very Mad Long suffering RRS Owner, but I can't help it!

Page 71 of the owner's handbook:
"Condensation
Misting of lamp lenses can occur under some atmospheric conditions. This will not affect the performance of the lamps, and will clear during normal operations."

I wouldn't think this is a priority on the LR fix-list. I've had this since delivery of mine back in October, but it hasn't worsened yet. It is more of an aesthetic annoyance than a real problem for me, but I would have thought that a sealed unit would be clear of such condensation.

cant believe that it should be normal or acceptable, to find it in the handbook horrifys me! Aesthetic Exclamation i did not spend £55k on a good looking car to have aesthetic issues (come to think of it why did I spend that much on a car anyway?). Must be an issue that affects performace, safety? (is there not some charge in there?) resale, maintenance, enjoyment of car etc etc etc Sad purple people eater

Are you running your lights on 'auto" or just switching on when required? I had a small amount of condensation on pick up but none since, & I've had mine on auto- only cause I was used to auto on my Merc ML. Just a thought Idea

hmmmm. I have been toying with replacing my trusty MY2007 with a nice new one. Until this is resolved (and I accept it is a minor niggle), I am not parting with c £50k until this is well and truly sorted. LR take note - and I am sure there are many more owners like me. If you see a bandwagon - it's too late.....

I pick up my first RRSMY10 on 1st March (yes , you can probably tell that I am excited, no car yet, but already trawling forums).

I hope I dont get the same problem with the headlights, but thought i would relay that I had a similar problem with my 2009 CRUDI A4 S-line avant (the one with the xenon and led's).

The Crudi dealer said that this was normal (they kindly cleaned the car for me at the same time and scratched the paintwork - which they denied).

Anyhow, on the Crudi the condensation went away and never came back. Maybe worth noting that i left the auto lights (with running lights) turned on. Perhaps this helps?
