Should think a run out to some nice little green lane could be fitted in if enough people wanted to experience the dark off road side.

July's best here for sure. We're normally away with the caravan 1st 2 or middle 2 weeks so could "arrange" to be round about the area for it. Current, M135i in Estoril Blue with more extras than the cast of Ben Hur.

Could head for Salisbury Plain if we were able to recruit a couple of people to head small groups that know the area. Need to be very careful with numbers on the Plain. I'm there once a month on average so have a rough idea of where to go, however VA and certain others probably know it better.

If we did Salisbury it would be advisable to have at least one car with a winch - just in case. I know a few routes and a couple of easy fords. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I would be up for this VA, give me a weeks notice to get there in the Defender though and you can have a winch equipped car there too, it hasn't done a long drive in a few years!! Early July would be better for me as I get home on June 1st and will have 7 weeks leave due. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Happy to bring my winch equipped G4 RRS along if it's a day on the plains. As long as people realise if they get stuck, winching them out is at their risk and not mine !!

My only fear with Salisbury is that the 20 wheels will get a battering - personally I wouldn't do any offroading wearing 20's. The standard 19's will be fine but owners do so at their own risk! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Good point re wheels. I was there with RRSBoy in his TDV8 last month and he did get a few marks on his 20"s. Perhaps the off-roading can be optional, at the drivers risk? Are you OK to put your hand up for organising this part of the day VA or are you still on your 20"s?

Hopefully I will have my new beastie by then, July would suit me best and would be keen for some offroad work. |

I can't say whether I will be able to make it but happy to help. I'm usually away in August and July is my busiest month. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
