I'll be in the New Forest until the 24th 4WD, always fancied going to Salisbury Plain or Minstead Offroad Centre but a picnic somewhere in the Forest would be fine. Problem is if it is nice weather then most of the SE decends on the Forest for the weekend and the traffic jams are horrendous for those of us who drive on the lovely quiet (by comparison) roads in Scotland.
I did a whole lot of greenlanes round Avebury area years ago in my Freelander and had a great time. There's always the BMHC at Gaydon, but they must be getting a bit used to seeing a fleet of RRS's on their forecourt!

Unfortunately I have made the decision to opt out of an official meet on 24th July. Numbers on both sites were fairly small, and unfortunately there is no one available to look after the 'cruise' and meeting point in the south.

Anyone is welcome to meet at LPR on the day, just let me know so that I can keep myself free.
