i came from a 5 year obsession with Lotus Exiges into my TDV8 and still try to drive it the same! fortunately the oodles of torque and dynamic response system help me get halfway there!

Daz - I've also been frowning at some of the other road users from the comfort of the RRS - and if i'm honest has made me a little more aware of how I drive the DB9 when i'm in it.

Having read Tim's comment - I may even take the FFRR out for a test next year when the miles are creeping up on mine.

Still - all that being said like wokkaman I do have fun in it & never get tired of the shocked expressions of people when I do drop the hammer!!

As for the Viagara - when I need it i'll take it!! Very Happy '10 Jaguar XKR Coupe 5.0L Supercharged.

Sportdriver, the TDV8 FFRR is beautiful but the 5.0ltr S/C FFRR is superb and can still put a grin on your face and severely frighten the souped up 3 series and astravan men when you want to be a little bit naughty to them!!

The really great thing with my poverty spec FFRR TD6SE was that I could get into it in Stirling and drive to Southampton and get out feeling like I had only driven road the corner to the village shop. Bumps are simply smothered by FFRR, you rarely feel them although you do hear the tyres bumping across them and you simply don't feel ecomental cyclists as they pass underneath........................... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Stirling to Southampton - that's some drive!!

Wouldn't it be easier & cheaper to fly to Southampton from there? '10 Jaguar XKR Coupe 5.0L Supercharged.

I do it 5-6 times a year and there is less hassle and at £60 in fuel each way, it's still cheaper than most flights I can get. I usually manage to combine trips to the south with events that need a car too. By the time |I have parked the car in a long term car-park, rented one at the other end the trip south is more pleasant and easier on the pocket. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Makes sense - just watch out for the average speed cameras on the motorways!! '10 Jaguar XKR Coupe 5.0L Supercharged.

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Ever since getting the RRS I've found myself plodding along at 30mph......and enjoying every minute. Yet as soon as I get in any other car I revert back to the old style of driving. Definitly a case of savouring the drive. RRS TDV6 / Java / 20" Alloys / Tints / Black Int

I use the ACC of the TDV8 90% or more of the time I am driving so average speed cams aren't a problem for me, when you are driving that far in a day you tend just to sit back and stick to the speed limits anyway, although I have been known to go for a blast now and again on a long drive. Also at steady speed I can get my TDv8 up to 34-35mpg on the computer, couldn't do that if I drove the whole way 85-90! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
