TDV6 versus TDV8

Although I have been looking for a 2.7TDV6 I may possibly have the chance to pick up a TDV8.
Can anyone please post the “real” difference in the fuel consumption between a 2.7TDV6 and a TD8?
Also any big service expense issues with the TDV8 such as with the TDV6 at 100K miles with cam belt / body off issues
Cheers
Syd

The TdV8 has chain drive to the camshafts - not a rubber belt like the V6, so no huge bill at 100k.mls

2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Santorini Black

when i test drove both there was no question the TDV8 was the one for me. It has an insane amount of power/torque, really puts a smile on your face.
