Thanks for the welcome,I am considering buying a new V6sport and wondered if members are generally happy with theirs,I know there have been a few problems,(mostly software I believe) and just wondered what the general concensus of opinion is on the reliability so far of this model ?and whether they would purchase again?

just signed up, I'm just on the threshold of buying my dream a 4.2 super but (should there ever be a but) I was getting a bit worried about the suspension problems!! The car is in the garage just now being fixed, what is being fixed I don't know but what should I be looking for on the test drive??
Also can anybody tell me what you get when the car is classed as a first edition??

I always wanted a Discovery since they were launched but could never justify one!

Now I am married and have a daughter and two dogs...I can finally justify a 4x4!

I tested the new Discovery 4 and really liked it but my wife thinks it is ugly and too big. I then tested a Range Rover Vogue SE and really liked it. My wife liked it but thought it was just too big.

Today I tested the RR Sport HSE for the last time and put a deposit down for delivery next month.

I was disappointed that I couldn't specify grand black interior and 5 spoke 20" wheels. Apparently these are reserved for the V8 and Supercharged models!

I called Land Rover direct and they said they should be available...I shall talk to the dealer and them again but thought this Forum could help me.

Look forward to chatting to other members and owners...

Nigel, which dealer? It could be they have a build slot in the next few days or even have the car in stock as they are only offering 1 month delivery. Been keeping an eye on this site for a couple of months, It eventually has made me part with some cash for an RRS but what the hell you cant take it with you. Secured an ex demo at start of Dec with a good spec that would never be able to afford new unfotunately have to wait till end of this month to pick it up and its been killing me. Been looking at pics on here to see me through, anyway pick it up on 26th Feb yesss then go on hols for 2 weeks so its gonna sit on my drive noooo anyway nice to be here and pick up some tips hopefully  Now gone Orkney grey SDV6 HSE with body style kit contrast stitch ebony leather, privacy, black piano, 22" Lowenharts for summer, 20" with Leon LTZ for winter.

Thanks PPE and Angel, had a look at the picks and it makes me very impatient for mine, I've got one of those carbunkels that you tow behind too, can't beat going away in winter with a bit of luxury compared to a tent, my body can't take it anymore. Found the RRS an excellent tow car, effortless, takes all the strain out of it, usually spend Xmas period in Pembroke with the carbunkle and MY59 wife, 300 miles and 6 hrs ish, no problem, indeed a joy, put some pics up when it arrives Ruds please  purple people eater

also i have a 2006 rrsport which keeps making a loud wooshing noise when pulling away sometimes any ideas as i cant catch it happening when i cant get bonnet up in time ?????????????

Here is a future owner of a RRS TDV 6 SE , which i will receive here in Belgium in May.
Current car is a Volvo XC 90 2.5 T, and i am really looking forward to drive this RRS, think i'm gonna like it much!
