Yes and no! Yes a main dealer will do it for something £100 but many of the Land Rover non franchise specialist garages also have the right autologic systems to be able to do it for a fraction of the cost! The update stops the suspension height being adjusted when it senses there is something plugged into the rear electrics - you loose the access and offroad heights when towing. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

IIRC from other posts the software download is also to isolate the fog lights so the glare doesnt reflect from the caravan.
