Lol, strange that LR thought we all owned Nokia phones when RRS came out, with the popularity of the iPhone it makes me wonder why they didn't just fit an iPhone connection in the dash so you could at least use that on the move and charge it at the same time. If the companies like Kia and Proton can do it, surely an upmarket constructor of fine vehicles like Land Rover can include the same facility. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Just buy a USB stick, much cheaper than an ipod. You can use Windows Media Player to 'rip' music from CD to MP3 format. I'd be happy if any new car didn't come with a CD player - I never use it. When I had the Bentley, it didn't come with aux input, and to my knowledge i don't think new models do either - well they didn't up until a year ago..... |

I agree - get rid of the cd player and put a docking station for media players which is controlled via the sat nav screen. Simples! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

My Defender is now bang up to date - extremely user friendly and addresses all the addressbook and connectivity problems that the RRS has with this hi-tech not that elegant system from Parrot and everything fits into the DIN slot (which RRS doesn't have!) http://www.parrotshopping.com/uk/p_parrot_item.aspx?i=183253
