Sport newbie here from Nothampton

Just ordered a TDV8 HSE (Stornoway with Ivory)

Got time to add extras as it's a March dely. What should I be looking at?

welcome - to be honest, a base HSE is good enough - any extras will be purely your own choice

Hi all

This is my first attempt at the forum which I hope will be very helpful and interesting.

I took delivery of my new RRS TDV8, Stonaway, Privicy glass, Premium Leather, Side Steps etc etc in late Oct 09 after driving Mercs for some 500,000 miles without missing a beat.

However, after 300 miles it failed to start and has failed a further 3 times all within 2,400 miles it's been in the dealership for 3-days and is now back there again with them scratching their heads.

The last time it failed to start was on Christmas morning and when Igot out of the car after it failed it locked itself with the Christmas presents in the boot, Grand kids were happy.

The only good thing is that I have met some interesting AA & Land Rover Technicians over the past couple of months!

The other issue I have is that nobody knows or can set the clock.

I'm sure somebody with a 2010MY will be along to answer your clock question soon but worth posting the question in the Technical section. give us a little more info about your starting problems and perhaps we might be able to point you in the right direction. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Hello all, just thought I'd post on here first as Im still using the serach function to find all the answers i need! Not easy I tell ya. Anyway, about to buy a used TDV6 with all extras except black windows. Always had german cars and they never missed a beat...so yes thats the only thing that worries me, reliability!

as a german i can tell you: They got the same minor problems or not just like german cars - anyway welcome to the madhouse
