I know there is the button under the handle and the single push button on the tail gate itself.

few times it happened to me especially in the winter. While at the dealer I told them to check the tailgate, and they said there was nothing wrong with it. the only solution I found was to give a kick to the tailgate in the lower part to get it closed. the push doesn't necessarily work so you need to kick harder |

happened once or twice to me. Unlocking via the dash buttons always sorted it. WINNER - 2008 Best All New Photograph

I think they are refering to the central lock/unlock button on the drivers door ![]() Gone 2006 '56' 2.7 TDV6 HSE, Zermatt Silver, 20", Side Steps, Brembos, Dynamic Pack, Etc VW Transporter, 19" Rims, T32 170 BHP, Lowered |

Press and hold lock and unlock together on the centre console for around 3 - 5 secs and the tailgate opens ![]() |

Got it fixed, turned out it was a frozen lock, night in a warm garage and some lubrication fixed it.
