Hey I never once mentioned you getting stuck in Tunisia, now that was incessant!!!

Been lurking for a while now so seen as I have finally gone and bought a RRS thought I would join. I stay just outside Aberdeen so a special hello to all the local members and hope to see you around and about.
Looking forward to getting my RRS dirty with some (mild to start with ) off roading although going by the state of our local roads it's probably more of a challenge to get across town than cross country.

Well as much as I would like a 2010 model, If I buy one of those the mrs will want a new vehicle.

Looking for low miles TDV8 or possibly a 2009 car if I can get a decent enough discount vs the 2010 model.

Have been a Freelander2 owner previously, had a midlife crisis and went to an Audi A4 Quattro Cabriolet 3.0 TDi

So returning to the fold of a "Gentleman's " 4x4 car soon!!!

general question! I was looking at an HSE in a local garage - remain nameless as they ripped me off for a "holding deposit of £500", in Culter!

But.... the salesman stated that all RRS HSEs were wired for a towbar and only the removable attachement was neded to enable towing - doesnt sound right, is it?

its my understanding that an additional wiring loom is required - post a question in the tech section and a more knowledgeable member will let you know

Just a hello from a new owner, picked up a G4 RRS at the weekend after a few years of an old P38, so it's a bit of a difference ! No doubt be using the resources of the forum over the next few years.
