Im new to this forum and have an 05 RR Sport 2.7D in Java Black with full HST kit/ exhausts etc (will try and post pics later). Love the car- even though it is underpowered for a car of it's size.

Background on me- I used to work for LR at Solihull and Gaydon- on L322 and T5 (L320/ L319). Worked in Body Engineering- on Doors/ Bonnets/ Tailgates of all things!

So if you've got any body related questions- please feel free to ask and i'll try my best to help!

Hi All.

New RRS TDI V8 owner.
Sold my 06 X5 3.0d sport which I have owned since new and loved to drive every day, but have always liked the look of the RRS so bought one yetrerday.
My X5 has a Diesel TUNIT box fitted which made a considerable difference taking it form the Standard 218bhp to around 250bhp.
I have spoken to TUNIT and was informed that I can send the unit back to them for remapping and a new wiring harness for a cost of £90, RESULT....
Was also told that this should push the RRS to over 300bhp, if anyone has had previous experience with the TUNIT boxes I would be very interested to hear anything you would have to say.

Have been sneak reading posts on the forum for awhile but thought I better join since I bought a RRS 4.4 HSE 2005 a few days ago in Latvia. The financial situation here brings interesting opportunities. Its in original and will probably stay that way but I'm a bit interested in nicer tailpipes...

Hello, all. I've got a MY10 RRS 3.0 on order. I spend most of my time on DISCO3.CO.UK, having had a D3 with bolt-on bits for a few years. I'll be dipping into here from time to time.

Afternoon all,

Nice to be here, long time lurker, first time poster.

I've wanted a RRS for a long time now and starting to get closer to realizing the dream as it were!

You'll have to bear with me for a while, I'll probably have some stupid questions to ask at first but I should pipe down once I can set my mind at rest with regards to a couple of matters.

Nothing like looking out of the office window into the local dealerships inventory for motivation though is there!?
