you wouldn't get me going on TV and saying I just won a share of £45m

I hate junk mail as it is, never mind letters begging for money

I quitely go and buy a RRS S/C and a Jaguar from CHPR for the missus as she won't drive a automatic Rolling Eyes

Likewise. Do they get a choice, lottery winners? I know the old football pools used to have a "no publicity" tick box on them. Odd how people won't drive an auto... my mum is the same. Never driven one, thinks she will crash into a wall if she does Rolling Eyes

i think you get a choice on holding the big fake cheque or a simple bank transfer and a life of luxury.

TBH, I think loads of people in your local area would find out, and then answer the "Do You Know Who Won" numbers in the News of the World in a hope of making a few quid

Then the paper would be literally full of "Lottery Winner Mr X wined and dined me and then took me to heaven and back to earth after been dumped the following morning" stories

Well that's my lottery headlines anyway Laughing

Yes you get a choice and with the Premium bonds too. Unfortunately from the ones I have met, not many find it improves their life. I met one winner who celebrated at the local Happy Eater Shocked Laughing Porsche Cayenne S Diesel 66 Plate
