Funny that! My dear old Mother is exactly the same about automatics!! Says she doesnt know what to do with her left leg!!! There was a bit by one of the Lottery Winners advisor in the Sunday Post I think and she was saying there is a choice and only about 25% actually want the publicity! One guy was so shocked hed won he never spent a penny of his win for two years!! Having had autos for the last god-knows-how-many cars I personally would never go back to a manual.

TBH, nor would I go for an automated manual as I don't want to have to paddle shift all the time and the full auto programmes on AM's are generally garbage.
